After investigation, it was found that Du Xinjian had lost his faith and belief, violated the bottom line of discipline and law, ignored the spirit of the central eight-point regulations, accepted gifts, cash gifts, accepted banquets and travel arrangements that may affect the fair execution of official duties; violated organizational principles, did not report personal matters according to regulations, sought benefits for others in job adjustments and received benefits; lost the bottom line of integrity, had others pay expenses that should have been paid by himself; used his position for illegal gain, embezzled large amounts of public funds; used his position to seek benefits for others in business contracts, job adjustments, and illegal acceptance of large sums of money. Du Xinjian seriously violated the Party's organizational discipline and integrity discipline, constituted a serious violation of duty and is suspected of corruption and bribery crimes. After the 18th National Congress of the Party, he did not restrain himself, continued his misconduct, with serious nature and harmful impact, and should be severely punished. In accordance with relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Administrative Punishment Law for Public Officials of the People's Republic of China," the Shanxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, after studying at the meeting of the Standing Committee and reporting to the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee for approval, decided to expel Du Xinjian from the Party; to cancel the benefits he enjoyed according to regulations; to confiscate his ill-gotten gains from violating discipline and laws; to transfer his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorial organs for investigation and prosecution, and to transfer all related properties.
