FIFA President: Will discuss expanding the World Cup to 64 teams.

FIFA President Infantino said in an interview on July 12th local time that discussions about further expanding the World Cup and increasing the number of teams in the final round to 64 will take place after this edition of the tournament ends this year. He did not reveal more details. The 2030 World Cup will be jointly hosted by Morocco, Portugal, and Spain. The 2034 World Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia.
