Due to the impact of Typhoon "Bavi", it is expected that from the morning of July 12th to the morning of July 13th, there will be a storm surge of 30 to 50 centimeters in the coastal waters of Liaoning. The Zhimao Bay tidal station will experience a high tide reaching the local blue alert level on the afternoon of the 12th. The Laohutan tidal station will experience a high tide reaching the local blue alert level on the morning of the 13th. The warning level for Huludao City and Dalian City is blue. The Liaoning Provincial Marine Hazard Emergency Plan Monitoring Center issued a level IV blue warning for storm surge at 8:00 on July 12, 2026 based on the Liaoning Provincial Marine Disaster Emergency Plan. Coastal relevant departments are advised to reinforce offshore fishery aquaculture facilities, carry out inspections and maintenance of seawalls, water gates and other facilities, strengthen weak and dangerous areas of seawalls, pay attention to the safety of ports and docks, prepare for flooding, and remind coastal tourists to be mindful of personal safety.
