Zhitong Finance APP learned that on July 10th, Bill Feng, senior investment bank data manager at LSEG, released the 2026 first half-year merger and acquisition report and rankings for China. In the first half of 2026, the total value of merger and acquisition transactions involving mainland China reached $153.5 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 33.6%, but an increase of 1.2% compared to the previous quarter. During the same period, a total of 3,244 transactions were announced, a year-on-year increase of 39.6%, but a decrease of 12.4% from the previous quarter.
