On July 10, Sichuan Changhong Holdings Group announced on its official WeChat account that Changhong and Zhaoxin Innovation Joint Laboratory had held a unveiling ceremony. The GD531 chip application solution jointly developed by the two parties, which is compatible with household air conditioning units, had successfully come offline, marking a significant milestone in the localization of core home appliance chips and the upgrade of home appliance intelligence. In the future, the two parties will focus on three core areas utilizing the specialized platform of the laboratory: first, promoting the scenario-based adaptation and optimization of core semiconductor devices such as MCU chips, storage products, and analog devices in household appliances; second, establishing a full chain innovation loop of "research and development-testing-iteration-mass production" to improve technology transfer efficiency and product stability; third, meeting the needs of industrial development by cultivating composite technical talents in chip development, home appliance intelligent control, and system integration.
