Institution: AI high-end MLCC incentives boost orders from Japanese and Korean manufacturers to record highs, increasing risk of shortages in the second half of the year.
According to the latest MLCC industry research from TrendForce, driven by the dual forces of AI server acceleration upgrades and continued expansion of self-developed ASIC chips by cloud service providers, leading companies such as Murata, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, and Taiyo Yuden are expected to reach record high BB Ratios of 1.30, 1.31, and 1.25 respectively by late June 2026. The overall MLCC market BB Ratio is also expected to rise to 1.04.
