BYD, along with its three major car brands, made an appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK. The global debut of the Tang EV is priced at around 1.3 million yuan.
During the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK, BYD Group brought together its three core brands, BYD, Tang, and Eulogy, to create the largest brand exhibition in the 33-year history of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, with a total exhibition area of 2016 square meters. During the event, the Tang Z made its global debut, with the new car unveiled by Li Ke and former F1 world champion Jenson Button. It has been confirmed that the Tang Z will be available in three versions: hardtop, convertible, and track edition. In addition, there is a special edition model planned to attempt to set a single lap record at the Nrburgring Nordschleife circuit this fall. This launch also marks the official entry of the Tang brand into the UK market, as it begins to strategically expand into the European luxury market.
