It mentions vigorously promoting energy saving and carbon reduction in thermal power. It is proposed to prudently and orderly shut down a batch of 300,000 kilowatts and below coal-fired units that meet the conditions, and encourage the construction of replacement units according to the requirements of the new generation of coal-fired power. Promote the implementation of a batch of 600,000 kilowatt coal-fired units for ultra-supercritical cross-generation upgrade and transformation. Support the implementation of zero-carbon and low-carbon fuel co-firing and carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS) transformation construction for units that meet the conditions, and the carbon emissions level per kilowatt-hour should be reduced by about 10% after the transformation construction. Implement a batch of coal-fired, gas-fired, and new energy integration projects, support coal-fired power and new energy to achieve integration and carbon reduction effects through peak load and peak shaving, integrated collection and transmission, etc. through methods such as thermal energy storage and energy coupling.
