On July 9th, local time, Russian President's Press Secretary Peskov stated that Russia is fully aware of the United States' plans to provide Ukraine with production licenses for "Patriot" missile defense interceptors, and that the Russian government is taking all necessary measures to protect the country's interests. Peskov also expressed concern that the U.S. government is under the misconception that escalating conflicts and military pressure can promote a peaceful resolution to the Ukrainian issue.
