The Ministry of Water Resources has initiated a level IV emergency response for flood prevention in Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei Province today. Due to the combined influence of cold and warm air, heavy rain to torrential rain is expected in central and northern parts of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei on July 10th and 11th. Major rivers such as the Luan River, Chaobai River, Beiyun River, Jiyun River, Yongding River, and Daqing River in the Hai River basin will experience significant flooding, with the Chaobai River possibly reaching a designated flood level. Some small to medium rivers within the heavy rain zone may also experience major flooding.
