Midday report: Shanghai Composite Index up 0.76% in the morning, innovation pharmaceuticals and medical services sectors collectively surging.

In the morning session, the three major indexes of A-shares showed mixed movements. As of midday, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.76%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 0.61%, the ChiNext Index fell by 0.65%, the CSI 50 Index rose by 1.27%, and the Star 50 Index fell by 0.41%. The total turnover of the entire market was 2.1822 trillion yuan, an increase of 473.7 billion yuan from the previous day, with more than 4400 stocks rising. In terms of sector themes, innovative drugs, AI videos, liquor, real estate, pork, precious metals, retail, games, and automobile manufacturers were among the top gainers, while the electronic chemicals, securities, diamond cultivation, semiconductor, energy metals, copper foil, and component sectors lagged behind. In terms of specific stocks, the pharmaceutical and medical sectors surged in the morning session, with shares like Changshan Pharmaceutical, Zhaoyan New Medicine, Zhongsheng Pharmaceutical, Lifetech Pharmaceutical, and Shuanglu Pharmaceutical all hitting the limit up. It was reported that after an 8-year hiatus, the national essential drug list was adjusted again, and innovative drugs were included for the first time. The AI video sector performed well, with Fushiko Holdings rising by the daily limit, while Tianyu Numerical Sciences and Chaoxun Technology similarly hit the limit. Traditional economic sectors like real estate and liquor rose in the morning session, with stocks like Yingxin Development and Huafa Shares hitting the limit up, while Gujing Tribute Liquor and Shanxi Fen Liquor rose. In addition, sectors like pork, precious metals, and automobile manufacturers were also active. On the other hand, the lithium mining sector continued to decline, with Rongjie Corporation hitting the limit down at one point, and Shengxin Lithium Energy, Tianqi Lithium, and Ganfeng Lithium following suit. The electronic gas and fluorine chemical sectors also performed poorly, with China Special Gas and Zhongjuxin both falling by over 10% during the session.
