Most major categories of US stock ETFs closed higher, with the Nasdaq ETF up more than 1.6%, leading the way along with small-cap stock ETFs and gold ETFs.
On Thursday, the Nasdaq 100 ETF closed up 1.66%, the Russell 2000 Index ETF rose 1.28%, the Gold ETF rose 1%, and the Barclays US Convertible Bond ETF and S&P 500 ETF rose by at least 0.85%. The Emerging Markets ETF increased by 0.83%, while the Agricultural Fund, US Real Estate ETF, Dow Jones ETF, and US Treasury 20+ Year ETF rose by a maximum of 0.33%. The US dollar index closed flat, the Euro fell by 0.03% against the dollar, the Soybean Fund fell by 0.40%, the Fear Index fell by 1.95%, and the US Brent Oil Price Fund fell by 3.21%.
