The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development coordinates the National Emergency Water Supply Base to urgently support Guigang, Guangxi.
According to China Construction News, recently, some areas of Guigang City were affected by Typhoon "Maysak", affecting the water supply. According to the needs of Guangxi, on the evening of July 8th, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development dispatched the National Emergency Water Supply Rescue Center South China Base to support the emergency water supply in Guigang, Guangxi. The emergency rescue team brought emergency water production vehicles, water quality testing vehicles, communication command vehicles, and other equipment, capable of meeting the basic water needs of around 40,000 people. At the same time, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development sent two experts from the National Water Quality Monitoring Center to provide technical support on-site. By 6 am on the 9th, the emergency rescue team had arrived in Guigang, conducting on-site surveys, selecting water collection points, and emergency water production in accordance with local unified deployment. At 1 pm on the 9th, the water quality was deemed satisfactory, and the emergency water production vehicles began supplying water to residents.
