At 18:06 on July 9th, the Tianjin Meteorological Observatory issued an orange rainstorm warning signal. It is expected that from 14:00 on July 10th to 8:00 on July 12th, there will be heavy to torrential rain in Tianjin, with parts of Jizhou District, Baodi District, and Wuqing District experiencing heavy rain, with some areas receiving more than 70 millimeters of rainfall per hour and cumulative rainfall exceeding 150 millimeters. The rainfall will be accompanied by short-term strong winds of level 7-9. According to the relevant regulations of the Tianjin Flood Control and Drought Relief Emergency Plan, the Tianjin Flood Control Office has decided to initiate a Level II flood control emergency response at 18:15 on July 9, 2026.
