According to the Wise Finance and Economics App, on July 9th, the person in charge of the Department of Circulation Development of the Ministry of Commerce interpreted the "Opinions on Accelerating the Innovation and Development of the Retail Industry." The "Opinions" provide a systematic deployment for promoting the development of the retail industry. Centered around overall planning and reasonable layout, improvement of product and service quality, coordination and optimization of existing and incremental resources, fair competition between online and offline businesses, the document aims to drive resources towards physical retail, tilt policies towards physical retail, strengthen efforts towards physical retail, and strive to establish a modern retail system by 2030 with a rational layout, high-quality supply, diverse formats, smart convenience, and orderly competition. It also aims to create influential retail scenes, introduce innovative business models, nurture internationally competitive retail enterprises, and significantly increase overall industry competitiveness, service capabilities, and consumer driving forces.
