On July 9, 2026 at 13:30, the Beijing Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Commission, in conjunction with the Beijing Meteorological Bureau, issued an orange warning for geological disaster meteorological risks: From 14:00 on July 10 to 14:00 on July 11, there is a high risk of geological disasters such as collapses, landslides, mudslides, and ground subsidence in most parts of Fangshan, eastern Mentougou, northwestern Fengtai, most parts of Changping, Huairou, Miyun, and Pinggu in Beijing; there is a relatively high risk of geological disasters such as collapses, landslides, mudslides, and ground subsidence in most parts of Mentougou, northern Shijingshan, western Haidian, northwestern Changping, and Yanqing; please take precautions.
