According to Changjiang Daily, from July 11th to 14th, Wuhan City may experience a new round of strong winds and extreme weather due to the impact of Typhoon "In-Fa". Today, the Wuhan City Natural Resources and Urban Construction Bureau issued an emergency notice regarding the strengthening of prevention measures for strong winds and extreme weather in all housing construction projects in the city. The notice requires that before the arrival of the typhoon, all projects in the city should suspend all plans for scaffold erection and dismantling and construction crane dismantling operations. When the wind force level is greater than level 5 on the same day, all projects in the city should stop all high-altitude operations of scaffolding and hoisting, as well as outdoor operations. When the wind force reaches level 6 or above and during the period when the typhoon weather passes (from July 11th to 14th), all construction sites should completely stop work: all non-fixed facilities and materials hanging or stacking near the building facade and walls are prohibited, materials on the ground that are vulnerable to wind effects should be covered with protective nets and heavy objects placed on top; all elevator cabins and hoisting baskets should be securely anchored on the ground, and hoists and hooks should be securely fastened; vehicles on site should be parked with their smallest windward surface facing the wind, neatly parked, with necessary measures taken to reinforce the ground; unnecessary personnel should not go out on the construction site, and all risky construction activities are strictly prohibited.
