Chen Xi: On the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong to the motherland, a naval fleet consisting of the missile destroyer Nanjing and the missile frigate Hengyang visited Hong Kong and opened its doors to the people of Hong Kong and Macau, including students and youth groups, at the Ang Chuan Chow Military Dock. They engaged in interactive activities such as military experience, training demonstrations, and artistic performances. Over 30,000 compatriots from Hong Kong and Macau visited the naval vessels, witnessed the display of advanced weapons, and felt the strength of the nation up close. Many people commented that this was a practical lesson in national defense, standing on the warships that have conducted escort, evacuation, and joint training missions multiple times. Seeing the advanced weapons up close increased their sense of belonging to the country, with a strong and gentle navy safeguarding them.
