The United States launches the third sunset review investigation on magnesia carbon bricks imported from China.

Recently, the US Department of Commerce announced that it was initiating the third sunset review of anti-dumping and countervailing duties on magnesia carbon bricks imported from China, as well as the third sunset review of anti-dumping duties on magnesia carbon bricks imported from Mexico. At the same time, the US International Trade Commission initiated an industry injury investigation on the above-mentioned products. The investigation will determine whether the cancellation of the existing anti-dumping and countervailing measures will continue to cause substantial harm to the domestic industry in the foreseeable future. Stakeholders are required to register their response with the US Department of Commerce within 10 days of this announcement. Stakeholders must submit their comments to the US International Trade Commission by July 31, 2026, and submit their adequacy response by September 8, 2026.
