Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd (CATL) has obtained the safety production license for the Xialiwopo lithium mine in Yichun, China.

The National Credit Information Platform "Credit China" revealed that the battery giant CATL, located in Yichun, Jiangxi Province, has obtained a safety production permit for the Jiancewo lithium mine. The safety production permit was issued on June 29 and is valid until February 2028. The permit shows that the mine type has been changed from "ceramic clay" to "lithium ore, ceramics, rubidium, cesium".
