The number of participants in our country's long-term care insurance has reached 320 million people.

Liu Juan, Deputy Director of the Treatment Security Department of the National Healthcare Security Administration, introduced at the routine press conference for the first half of 2026 on July 9 that currently, 17 provinces including Hebei and Shanxi have launched provincial implementation plans for long-term care insurance, with 100 pooling regions in operation, covering a total of 320 million insured individuals.
