According to reports, Li Wenguang, President of Huawei's Smart Driving Solutions product line, answered questions about Huawei's Qiankun smart driving and the industry. Li Wenguang revealed that from a technological perspective, at least by next year, L3 autonomous driving can be achieved in high-speed scenarios, with some pilot projects planned for this year, which will then be normalized. In addition, some high-end car models released in the second half of this year will have hardware embedded for high-speed L3 capabilities. Li Wenguang stated that the current level of assisted driving is still far from the requirements of autonomous driving, which requires at least several hundred thousand kilometers without accidents in the initial stages. Li Wenguang also revealed that Huawei will invest around 10 billion in the field of autonomous driving this year and definitely more than 20 billion next year.
