The country's first integrated sea-land flexible straightening engineering converter station has been put into operation.
The reporter learned from the Southern Power Grid that the first integrated sea-land offshore wind power flexible transmission project in China has reached a crucial stage, with the core hub of the project - the offshore converter station - starting to be shipped, and is expected to arrive in Yangjiang, Guangdong in a week. At Zhenhua Port in Nantong, Jiangsu, the offshore converter station of the Yangjiang Sanshan Island offshore wind power project was officially loaded onto a ship and set sail. The fleet will sail nearly 1000 nautical miles to the deep sea operating area off Yangjiang, Guangdong to complete the offshore installation. This offshore converter station is massive, with an overall height of 43 meters, equivalent to a 15-story building, and a single platform area close to the size of a standard soccer field.
