On July 3rd, the launch meeting of the price supervisor system in China's steel industry was held in Beijing. At the meeting, the list of price supervisors for the steel industry in China was reviewed and approved. Representatives at the meeting put forward suggestions on how to effectively implement this system in accordance with the law and regulations. Tang Zujun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of China Iron and Steel Industry Association, presided over the meeting. Tang Zujun emphasized that establishing a price supervisor system in the industry is a specific measure to implement the requirements of the Opinions on Improving the Price Governance Mechanism issued by the General Office of the Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council, and also a necessary step to combat "internal competition" in the industry. The steel industry has entered a new stage of development characterized by reducing production and optimizing existing capacity, and enterprises should no longer rely on price wars for survival, but rather focus more on technology, quality, brand, value, and services.
