Chairman Dai Houlitng of China National Petroleum Corporation meets with the President of the World Petroleum Council.

On July 2nd, local time, Dai Houliang, Chairman of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), met with Pedro, Chairman of the World Petroleum Council, in London to exchange views on deepening practical cooperation. Dai Houliang stated that the World Petroleum Council, as one of the authoritative international organizations in the energy industry, plays an important role in formulating industry governance rules and promoting technological innovation. China is an important member of the council, and CNPC is deeply involved in the council's affairs. We are willing to rely on the platform of the council to contribute wisdom to further improve the global energy governance system and provide advice on global energy security and green low-carbon transformation. Pedro expressed that the World Petroleum Council can provide a wide range of communication opportunities, build a dialogue platform, showcase advanced industry technologies, promote clean energy production, and find solutions to the problems facing industry development.
