The first paperless processing of outbound tax refunds has been implemented nationwide in Beijing.

On July 3rd, it was learned from the Beijing Municipal Taxation Bureau that starting from July 1st, "full-process paperless" has been implemented nationwide as one of the core measures of the 2.0 policy for exit tax refunds. As a city with a leading volume of exit tax refund business in the country, the Beijing Municipal Taxation Bureau has deeply participated in the design and transformation of the full-process paperless system by the State Administration of Taxation, transforming years of frontline practical experience into "Beijing wisdom". By upgrading and transforming the exit tax refund process to be paperless, they have comprehensively upgraded the inbound consumer tax refund service, allowing overseas travelers to shop and refund taxes with "one code passage, fingertip confirmation, and instant payment".
