Guangdong Zhanjiang initiates level II emergency response to tropical cyclone.
According to the Guangdong Zhanjiang Maritime Bureau, due to the impact of Typhoon "Mikra", Zhanjiang Port, the eastern and western coasts of Leizhou Peninsula, and the north shore of Qiongzhou Strait have all raised a typhoon warning signal to level 3. In order to effectively prevent typhoon risks, the Zhanjiang Maritime Bureau initiated a level 2 emergency response to counter tropical cyclones at 7:00 on July 3, deploying various maritime defense measures. To prevent maritime risks, the Zhanjiang Maritime Bureau conducted inspections and verification on key vessels such as offshore construction vessels, sand and gravel carriers, wind power maintenance vessels, and dangerous goods vessels, confirming their berth locations, loading status, and personnel evacuation situations.
