Guangdong Zhanjiang initiates level II emergency response to prevent tropical cyclones.

According to the Maritime Bureau of Zhanjiang, Guangdong, affected by Typhoon "Mesaic", the typhoon warning stations in Zhanjiang Port, the eastern and western coasts of Leizhou Peninsula, and the north coast of Qiongzhou Strait have all simultaneously raised the No. 3 typhoon signal. In order to effectively prevent typhoon risks, the Zhanjiang Maritime Bureau initiated a level II emergency response to anti-tropical cyclones at 7:00 on July 3rd, deploying various maritime defense measures. To prevent maritime risks, the Zhanjiang Maritime Bureau conducted inspections and revisits on key vessels such as offshore construction ships, sand mining ships, wind power maintenance ships, and hazardous cargo ships, verifying the berthing positions, loading status, and personnel evacuation situations of the vessels.
