Investing 5 billion euros, Infineon's world's largest power semiconductor factory starts production ahead of schedule.

On July 2nd local time, German semiconductor manufacturer Infineon announced the official launch of its global largest power semiconductor factory, Smart Power Fab, located in Dresden, Germany. It was put into operation several months ahead of the original plan. The total investment of the project reached 5 billion euros, which is the largest single investment in Infineon's history and one of the largest investment projects in Germany in recent years.
