The 16th Chinese Arctic expedition sets sail.

On July 3rd, the 16th Chinese Arctic Expedition organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources set sail from Dalian with the research vessels "Xuelong", "Xuelong 2", and "Polar" from the North Sea Bureau. This is the first Arctic expedition organized and implemented by China in the early stages of the 15th Five-Year Plan. The four ships, including "Xuelong", "Xuelong 2", "Polar", and "Explorer III", will work together to complete the expedition tasks by early October.
