As of the close of trading that day, the price of light crude oil futures for delivery in August on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by 11 cents to settle at $68.69 per barrel, an increase of 0.16%; the price of Brent crude oil futures for delivery in September on the London exchange rose by 23 cents to settle at $71.80 per barrel, an increase of 0.32%.
