The US dollar index fell more than 0.4% on non-farm payroll day.

On Thursday, the New York session saw the ICE U.S. Dollar Index fall by 0.50% to 100.890 points. The index continued to decline in the Asia-Pacific session, but rose to near 101.200 points around 20:30 Beijing time before the release of the U.S. non-farm payroll report. After the data was released, it quickly dropped to a daily low of 100.558 points at 20:45. The Bloomberg Dollar Index fell by 0.43% to 1219.52 points, with a trading range during the day of 1225.21-1216.41 points.
