On July 2nd, Lenovo Group Vice President and Lenovo China Chief Strategic Officer A Bekmur A Bekmu admitted that in the long term, both in China and in overseas markets, there is still a great demand for AI computing power, and there has not been an oversupply of computing power. He stated that currently, there is a limited number of mature consumer-facing AI products, and the commercialization potential for enterprise-facing B-side has not been fully realized. He emphasized that the growth dividends of historical productivity revolutions have always been driven by the industrial side, and in the long term, there is a huge demand for computing power. He also mentioned that there is currently an issue in the AI industry chain where the supply side has too much control and the supply-demand cycle is unbalanced. Recent news about Meta opening up computing power has caused concerns in the market about an oversupply of computing power.
