Stock photo giant "Century Merger" in the era of AI copyright has failed! Getty abandons $3.7 billion acquisition, Shutterstock (SSTK.US) stock price plummets.

According to the Wise Finance APP, Getty Images (GETY.US) is withdrawing from its merger plan with Shutterstock (SSTK.US) due to regulatory obstacles in the UK, resulting in the cancellation of this major deal. The obstacle had initially required a forced sale of Shutterstock's editorial business division. Shutterstock's stock price continued to decline in pre-market trading on the US stock market, with the decline expanding to over 34% at one point. Getty Images, which led the cancellation of the merger deal, saw a relatively mild decline in pre-market trading, dropping by nearly 10% at one point but hovering around a 4% decline in pre-market trading thereafter.
