On June 30th, local time, the American tech giant Amazon announced that it will invest $1 billion to establish a new artificial intelligence department under its cloud computing platform Amazon Web Services (AWS) to specifically assist customers in building and implementing AI systems. AWS stated that it expects to deploy thousands of frontline engineers and related teams to work closely with customer business, research, and security departments, and can help customers build and maintain autonomous technical teams and deliver complete AI solutions in just a few weeks. According to reports from foreign media, AWS is the world's largest cloud service provider in terms of revenue and the first large-scale cloud vendor to offer such on-site engineer specialized services.
