This drug is used for the treatment of non-toxic goiter; prevention of goiter recurrence after thyroidectomy; replacement therapy for hypothyroidism; adjunctive therapy for hyperthyroidism treated with antithyroid drugs; suppressive therapy after thyroid cancer surgery; and thyroid suppression test.
