According to statistics from the Zhuhai checkpoint and Hengqin checkpoint, the total number of entry and exit passengers through the Hengqin Port exceeded 17.77 million in the first half of 2026, an increase of 27.8% compared to the previous year; the number of entry and exit vehicles reached 2.21 million, an increase of 40.6% compared to the previous year. Among them, the number of single license plate vehicles from Macao reached 1.46 million, accounting for 66.2% of the total number of vehicles. The passenger and vehicle flow at the port are continuously increasing, and the vitality of travel between Hengqin and Macao continues to be released.
