According to the Beijing Lianjia Research Institute, based on data from the official website of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, in June 2026, the number of second-hand residential properties signed in Beijing was 16,618 units, an increase of 4.0% month-on-month and 9.8% year-on-year. Analyst Leng Hui of the Beijing Lianjia Research Institute stated that based on historical data, the number of second-hand residential properties signed in Beijing in June this year is the highest level in nearly five years. In terms of price trends in various districts, prices in most city districts have remained stable or experienced slight fluctuations within a reasonable range. "The performance of the second-hand housing market in Beijing in the first half of this year has been generally good, with an increase in transaction volume and stable price trends," said Leng Hui. Data released by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development shows that the number of second-hand residential properties signed in the first half of 2026 was 93,583 units, an increase of 5.7% year-on-year, reaching the highest level in nearly five years for the same period.
