This move aims to expand the application of relevant technology for businesses and research institutions, with these technologies specifically designed to accelerate drug development, materials science, and semiconductor manufacturing. Google will incorporate Sandbox AQ's "large quantitative models" into its cloud marketplace, allowing researchers to combine Google's Gemini language model with AI systems trained based on scientific equations and laboratory data. Unlike large language models adept at generating text, large quantitative models are trained based on numerical data and aim to assist in solving challenges in the fields of chemistry, biology, and physics.
