Organization: Apple will introduce future display color standards to accelerate the restructuring of OLED luminous material system.

According to the latest AMOLED technology and market report from TrendForce, Apple plans to gradually adopt OLED panels with a color gamut coverage of 95% of the future display color standard BT.2020 in products such as MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and iMac. Compared to the current mainstream color standard DCI-P3, BT.2020 has higher requirements for color purity, spectral control, luminous efficiency, and power consumption, which means that the focus of OLED technology competition will no longer be limited to improving brightness, contrast, and thinness, but will further move towards a balance between color purity and energy efficiency.
