Citigroup: Chinese internet stocks appear attractive after recent sell-off.

Citigroup analysts stated in a research report that the recent sell-off in Chinese internet stocks has created extremely attractive valuation opportunities. The Hang Seng Index has fallen by 11% so far this year, while despite recent volatility, the Korea Composite Index has still risen by 100%. Citigroup analysts believe that the current trading prices of Pinduoduo and Meituan are close to their five-year lows. They stated, "With a solid net cash position and excellent buyback plans, we expect these companies to accelerate their buyback pace, and we believe that fundamentals will ultimately prevail."
