Due to the impact of several oil refineries shutting down, Russia is implementing measures to stabilize the domestic market. Putin confirmed that a complete ban on diesel exports is one of the alternative options currently being discussed. After a meeting on Friday with the Ministry of Energy, oil producers, and government officials, it was not recommended to implement a diesel export ban for now, as it may lead to issues such as diesel stockpiling. The government will reassess the market situation on Monday.
