On June 27th, a conference on promoting the high-quality development of small and medium-sized enterprises was held, and the theme activities for the "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Day" in Jiangsu Province in 2026 were launched simultaneously under the slogan "Embracing Innovation, Empowering Collaboration." The Governor of the province, Liu Xiaotao, attended the meeting. Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, An Lijia, and member of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Minister of the United Front Work Department, Hu Guangjie, also attended and delivered speeches. By the end of 2025, there were over 4.8 million small and medium-sized enterprises in Jiangsu, which are an important foundation for promoting high-quality development. Jiangsu has thoroughly studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on the development of small and medium-sized enterprises. This year, Jiangsu has issued the "Jiangsu Provincial Regulation on Promoting the Development of the Private Economy" and the "Action Plan for Optimizing the Business Environment in Jiangsu Province," further establishing mechanisms to promote the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, leading to continuous improvement in the quantity, efficiency, and quality of their development. An Lijia stated that the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce will continue to provide support and service work, summarizing and promoting good experiences and practices in a timely manner, and work together with Jiangsu to support the high-quality development of small and medium-sized enterprises. Hu Guangjie emphasized that they will continue to balance service and management, development and assistance, promote the integration of industries, create an innovative ecosystem, and support small and medium-sized enterprises in becoming a strong force and enhancing their competitiveness.
