For the first time, Qinghai opens a Central Asia freight train to Turkmenistan's Balkan.

The first Central Asian train from Xining, Qinghai to Turkmenistan Balkanabat set off from the Xining Shuangzhai Logistics Base on the Qinghai-Tibet Railway on the 28th, loaded with clothing, electrical appliances, auto parts, daily necessities and other goods. It will exit through the Khorgos port, pass through Kazakhstan, and is expected to arrive at the Turkmenistan Aqala station in 14 to 15 days. The train travels a total distance of approximately 5420 kilometers, with a formation of 55 cars, making it Qinghai Province's first international freight train directly to Turkmenistan.
