Amazon's annual Prime Day event, which lasted for four days, ended on Friday. According to Adobe data tracking website visits, the total online consumption of all retailers in the United States during Prime Day promotions reached $26.4 billion, slightly higher than the expected $26.3 billion. Compared to last year's Prime Day event held in July, there was a 9.3% growth. According to Adobe data, retailer discounts were similar to last year, with the most significant discounts being on electronics and clothing, with an average reduction of about 24%. Consumer research company Numerator reported that as of Friday afternoon, the average household spent a total of $143 on Amazon over the four days, a decrease of 8.3% compared to the same period last year.
