Venezuela earthquake disaster zone begins traffic control.
On the 26th local time, Nestor Reverol, Minister of Internal Affairs, Justice and Peace of Venezuela, announced through a televised speech that due to the large number of vehicles and personnel entering the earthquake-stricken state of La Guaira, causing severe traffic congestion and hindering earthquake rescue work, traffic control will be fully implemented on all entrances to La Guaira state starting from 20:00 on the 26th. Individuals who have been registered and hold volunteer credentials will still be allowed to enter the state. Venezuela has experienced two strong earthquakes of magnitude 7 or above on the 24th, resulting in a large number of casualties.
