Ministry of Transportation: Further optimize the layout of the national comprehensive transportation corridor, improve the national comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network.

The Secretary of the Party Group and Minister of the Ministry of Transport, Liu Wei, presided over the meeting of the Ministry, reviewing the "Regulations on General Aviation Operation Permit Procedures" and the "Regulations on General Aviation Business Management", and listening to a report on the safety assurance work during the construction of the new waterway for the Three Gorges water transportation. The meeting emphasized the need to strengthen the implementation of the main functional area strategy, further optimize the layout of the national comprehensive transportation corridors, improve the national comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network, promote the construction of major cross-regional and cross-basin transportation corridors, improve the comprehensive transportation system of modern metropolitan areas, enhance the service function of national comprehensive transportation hub cities, and provide strong support for promoting regional coordinated development and optimizing the layout of major productive forces. The meeting pointed out that the construction of the new waterway for the Three Gorges water transportation is beneficial for enhancing the navigational capacity of the Yangtze River Golden Waterway and better supporting the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
