Chinese Consumer Association releases "2026 '618' Consumer Rights Protection Public Opinion Analysis Report"
The China Consumers Association used an internet public opinion monitoring system to conduct a big data analysis of consumer rights protection from June 1st to June 20th. Based on the performance of consumer opinion data, during the monitoring period, a total of 1,917,839 "complaining" consumer rights protection information was monitored through the public opinion monitoring system, accounting for 4.51% of the total consumer rights protection information. The monitoring found that pricing tricks, product quality, improper marketing, and poor after-sales service have become the focus of consumer attention. During the 20-day monitoring period from June 1st to June 20th, a total of 42,554,687 pieces of information related to consumer rights protection were collected, with an average of approximately 212,000 pieces per day. The information volume trend shows obvious periodic fluctuations, with a decrease on weekends and the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. Information volume peaked on June 18th, reaching 2,604,424 pieces within the period.
