Choi Taiyuan's high-profile divorce case is set to be judged in July. After the stock prices of companies such as SK Hynix soared, it is believed that there is no longer any danger to the group's control.

The divorce case between SK Hynix billionaire Choi Tae-yun and his ex-wife is set to receive a verdict next month, meaning that this decade-long lawsuit may be coming to an end. After resuming hearings on Friday, the Seoul High Court announced on its website that the verdict will be delivered on July 24. The court had previously ruled for Choi Tae-yun to pay his ex-wife Roh Soo-young 1.38 trillion Korean won in a property division settlement, but this decision was overturned by the Supreme Court last year and ordered to be retried.
