Silicon Industry Branch Visits Silicon-related Enterprises in Qinghai for Research.

On June 24th, Lin Ruhai, Deputy Secretary General and Director of the Policy Research Office of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, and Executive Vice President of the Silicon Branch, led a team to conduct field research in Xining, Qinghai Province. They visited three key enterprises in the silicon industry chain, Qinghai Gaojing Solar Technology Co., Ltd., Qinghai Lihao Qingneng Co., Ltd., and Asia Silicon Co., Ltd., to gain a deep understanding of the companies' production operations, technological innovation, energy consumption and emissions, and future development plans. They engaged in in-depth discussions with the company leaders on topics such as the path to high-quality development of the polysilicon industry, industry policy direction, and green and low-carbon transformation. Lin Ruhai responded to the questions raised by the company leaders one by one, emphasizing that companies can actively participate in and promote the revision of national standards, unify the statistical calibers of various technical and economic indicators in the industry; regarding technology going abroad, relevant government departments are gradually improving export control of key technologies and products; regarding technological transformation, he emphasized that innovation is the fundamental driving force for enterprise development, but there is indeed an issue of rapid asset depreciation, and the industry needs to jointly explore a more sustainable pace of innovation.
